Our next gathering (In the wake of our last amazing celebrity filled fun fest) is a look at the interaction of Stan & Babe with various animals. Some friendly, some -- NOT so friendly!! After the maniacal animal cartoon directed by Tex Avery, SCREWY SQUIRREL, we will see ANGORA LOVE from 1929. L&H are unwittingly being followed home by a very voracious goat! Can they hide their four footed friend from landlord Edgar Kennedy? This silent masterpiece will NOT be silent, because Russ (Piano tickler) Peck will perform another wonderful custom music score! Our guest comedian will also find that being kind to animals is sometimes not the best idea.
After the always taste tempting Keeley treats, we will screen the feature film THE BULLFIGHTERS. Stan plays a dual role in this laugh riot. Stan and Ollie are private detectives who follow the trail of Larceny Nell to Mexico, where they find that our Stan looks just like the famous Matador Don Sebastian. Sebastian is not afraid of any bull but unfortunately scaredy cat Stan replaces the real bullfighter! Ollie assures that a contented bull will be used. In a pig's eye! Come and see the monkey business that ensues!
