Cabin Fever began selling computer
colorized videos in the early '90s. Most of their films were
short, sound films and were sold one to a tape. These films
had been colorized for "The Laurel & Hardy Show," which
appeared on cable television a few years earlier. As a
result, many films were cut in length so as to fit the half
hour TV program. They also were cut because some scenes were
just too difficult to colorize. Their tapes were readily
available for a number of years. In 1997 they released three
colorized features, each with one short film. Soon after
they ceased operations. Some of their tapes are still
available as new.
